Robert J. Min, M.D. received his medical degree from Weill Medical College of
Cornell University. Dr. Min completed an internship in surgery and a residency
in diagnostic radiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell where he
served as Chief Resident. Dr. Min received additional subspecialty fellowship
training in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology at Stanford University
Medical Center. He is currently the Director of Cornell Vascular, an Assistant
Professor of Radiology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and an
Attending Physician in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology at New York
Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Min has specialized in the treatment of varicose and spider veins for the
past decade and serves on the Board of Directors of the American College of
Phlebology. He has
pioneered the development of minimally invasive treatment alternatives to
surgical ligation and stripping of varicose veins, including Transcatheter
Duplex-Guided Sclerotherapy. He has most recently developed the technique of
Endovenous Laser treatment of varicose veins, one of the most significant
advancements in the treatment of venous disease in the past decade.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and a member of the
Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Radiological Society of
North America, American College of Phlebology, American Society of Laser
Medicine, and other radiological and venous-related societies. Dr. Min is
currently heading a team of physicians at Cornell Vascular specializing in the
treatment of venous disease and transcatheter embolization treatment of uterine
fibroids.
