Women's Imaging Center

The Women's Imaging Center of Cornell Medical Imaging is dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer and the diagnosis of other breast problems.

Whether you come in for a screening Mammography or the diagnosis of a breast problem, you will benefit from comprehensive technically-advanced services and individualized care from a staff of experienced radiologists and technologists.

Consultations and Second Opinions 

Prompt consultations and written reports are provided to all referring clinicians.

Patient Education and Counseling Program 

Information is provided in the form of videotapes and brochures on various aspects of the diagnostic process, including breast self-examination.  A clinical nurse breast specialist is available to discuss procedures and provide education and counseling for all patients undergoing biopsy procedures.  Breast cancer support groups are also available.
